About Us

Indie LAN is a community gaming event run in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne at Boronia Community Church of Christ. We run 3 times a year and host a range of tournaments.

Indie LAN is run by a group of dedicated volunteers who enjoy all things tech. The volunteers are a very important part of Indie LAN and are what make it such a successful event. We aren’t able to run smoothly without the support and equipment from another LAN party called LAN-slide. They are currently reshaping the LAN gaming community in Victoria and are worth checking out.

All the volunteers wear Indie LAN team member t-shirts.  Our volunteers all have working with children checks and comply with Indie LAN’s privacy policy. Each volunteer chooses what area they would like to be involved in and are given the appropriate responsibility. Some of us have been attending LAN’s for many years, and others have only begun their gaming adventure.

We are all gaming and technology enthusiasts and enjoy attending and volunteering for other events. LAN-slide is another gaming event that support us, and we try our best to thank them with our support too! Sometimes this support is running the BBQ in the morning, or helping with general tech support on gaming day.
